Medical Definition of Goodenough draw-alpha-man test

1. A brief test for assessing an individual's level of intelligence based on how accurately drawn and how many elements are included when a child or adult is given a pencil and sheet of white paper and asked to draw a man, the best man he or she is able to draw. Also called the Goodenough draw-alpha-person test and, in its current form, the Goodenough-Harris drawing test. (05 Mar 2000)
