Medical Definition of Ancitabine
2,2'-anhydro-1-beta-d-arabinofuranosylcytosine. Congener of cytarabine that is metabolised to cytarabine and thereby maintains a more constant antineoplastic action.
Pharmacological action: antimetabolites, antineoplastic.
