Medical Definition of Angiodynography

1. A diagnostic procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to image arteries and veins. Sometimes referred to as colour flow Doppler because the arteries will appear as red on the screen and the veins will be blue. Useful in the determination of the vascular obstruction. (27 Sep 1997)
