Medical Definition of Calgranulins

1. Calcium binding myeloid associated proteins (8 kD and 14 kD, also called p8, 14 and as MRP 8, MRP 14) expressed at high levels in neutrophils and monocytes but lost during differentiation to macrophages. Related to migration-inhibitory factor (MIF). Associated with keratinocyte cytoskeleton. Part of the S100 family.
