1. A family of the order primates, suborder strepsirhini (prosimii), containing five genera. All inhabitants of madagascar, the genera are: allocebus, cheirogaleus (dwarf lemurs), microcebus (mouse lemurs), mirza, and phaner. (12 Dec 1998)
