1. A rare condition characterised by the excretion of sweat containing pigment. Synonym: chromidrosis. Origin: chrom-+ G. Hidros, sweat Apocrine chromhidrosis, excretion of coloured sweat, usually black, from apocrine glands, due to an abnormal lipochrome content of the secretion, occurring on the face or the axillae in adult Negro males.
