Medical Definition of Collum femoris
1. A short, constricted, strong bar projecting at an obtuse angle (about 125°) from the upper end of the shaft of the thigh bone and supporting its head. Synonym: collum ossis femoris, collum femoris, neck of thigh bone. (05 Mar 2000)
