Medical Definition of Conjunctival fornix
1. The space formed by the junction of the bulbar and palpebral portions of the conjunctiva, that of the upper lid being the fornix conjunctivae superior and that of the lower lid the fornix conjunctivae inferior. Synonym: fornix conjunctivae, conjunctival cul-de-sac, retrotarsal fold. (05 Mar 2000)
