Medical Definition of Dyschondrosteosis
1. A bone dysplasia characterised by bowing of the radius, dorsal dislocation of the distal ulna and proximal carpal bones, and mesomelic dwarfism; autosomal dominant inheritance. Synonym: Leri's pleonosteosis, Leri-Weill disease, Leri-Weill syndrome. Origin: dys-+ G. Chondros, cartilage, + osteon, bone, + -osis, condition (05 Mar 2000)
