Galactosyl-n-acetylgalactosaminyl-(n-acetylneuraminyl)- galactosyl-glucosylceramide. Ganglioside present in abnormally large amounts in neurons and in elevated levels in liver and kidney due to a deficiency of beta-galactosidase in the genetically determined disease gm1-gangliosidosis.
