Medical Definition of Ganglion cervicothoracicum
1. A sympathetic trunk ganglion lying behind the subclavian artery near the origin of the vertebral artery, at the level of the seventh cervical vertebra, close to the first thoracic ganglion with which it is usually fused. (05 Mar 2000)
