1. A lymphoid structure in which the blood sinuses are present in place of lymph sinuses; haemal node's occur in ruminants and some other mammals, but their presence in humans is questioned. Synonym: haemal gland, haemolymph gland, haemolymph node, vascular gland. (05 Mar 2000)
