1. Denoting a spinal neuron whose axon divides and gives off processes to both sides of the cord; usually the same as a heteromeric neuron. Synonym: hecatomeral, hecatomeric. Origin: G. Hekateros, each of two, + meros, part (05 Mar 2000)
