1. The infundibular portion of the hypothalamus, includes the medial tuberal nuclei and portions of the dorsomedial, ventromedial, arcuate (infundibular), posterior and lateral hypothalamic nuclei; located internally in the general area of the infundibulum. (05 Mar 2000)
