Medical Definition of Leiomyofibroma

1. A leiomyoma containing non-neoplastic collagenous fibrous tissue, which may make the tumour hard; fibroleiomyoma usually arises in the myometrium, and the proportion of fibrous tissue increases with age. Synonym: fibroid, leiomyofibroma. (05 Mar 2000)
