Medical Definition of Lichenoid eruptions
1. Conditions in which there is histological damage to the lower epidermis along with a grouped chronic inflammatory infiltrate in the papillary dermis disturbing the interface between the epidermis and dermis. Lichen planus is the prototype of all lichenoid eruptions. (12 Dec 1998)
