Medical Definition of Lysine carboxypeptidase

1. A serine carboxypeptidase that removes c-terminal amino acids, preferentially lysine, from peptides and proteins. It inactivates bradykinin by this action. Registry number: EC 3.4.17.3 (12 Dec 1998)
