Nomina Anatomica lists medial mammary branches (rami mammarii mediales...) of the following: 1) anterior cutaneous branches of ventral primary rami of thoracic spinal nerves (...rami cutanei anterioris ramorum ventralium nervorum thoracicorum; also known as anterior cutaneous branches of intercostal nerves (...rami cutanei anterioris nervorum intercostalium); nerve branches accompanying the perforating branches of internal thoracic artery. 2) perforating branches of internal thoracic artery (...rami perforantes arteriae thoracicae internae ).
