1. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent used in painful and inflammatory conditions, and in menstrual disorders. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties; it is an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase. Pharmacological action: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, cyclooxygenase inhibitors.
