Medical Definition of Milled-in paths

1. Contours carved by various mandibular movements into the occluding surface of an occlusion rim, by teeth or studs placed in the opposing occlusion rim; the curves or contours may be carved into wax, modeling plastic, or plaster of Paris, occlusal curves developed by masticatory or gliding movements of occlusion rims which are composed of materials including abrasives.
