Medical Definition of Nebulin

1. Family of large matrix proteins (600-900 kD) found in the N line of the sarcomere of striated muscle. Consist of many (more than 200) repeats of conserved actin binding motifs, bind to F actin and may serve as templates for assembly of the sarcomere.
