Aka: oligonephronic hypoplasia, form of renal hypoplasia, very small kidneys, reduced number of renal segments (less than7), most severe form unipapillary kidney, hypertrophied nephrons, male:female 3:1 (Pollack), progressive renal failure, poor excretion on IVU, normal or mildly dilated collecting systems
