Medical Definition of Pancreatic diarrhoea

1. Diarrhoea characterised by severe, watery, secretory diarrhoea and hyperkalaemia; most patients have hypercalcaemia, many have hyperglycaemia; results from excessive secretion of VIP (vasoactive intestinal peptide) by an islet cell tumour of the pancreas.
