1. A fascial layer that extends superiorly from the central tendon of the perineum to the peritoneum between the prostate and rectum. Synonym: septum rectovesicale, Denonvilliers' aponeurosis, rectovesical fascia, Tyrrell's fascia. (05 Mar 2000)
