Medical Definition of Tracheobronchial groove

1. The depression in the floor of the caudal end of the pharynx, continued downward on the ventral wall of the foregut; from it are developed the lower part of the larynx and the trachea, bronchi, and lungs. Synonym: tracheobronchial groove. (05 Mar 2000)
