Medical Definition of Vanished testis syndrome

1. Absence of both testes in a male with normal chromosomes (XY) and otherwise normal genitalia at birth and during childhood. Testes were present in at least the first trimester of gestation, but vanished sometime thereafter. (05 Mar 2000)
