This prescription drug is used to treat depression. It is phenethylamine bicyclic derivative, chemically unrelated to tricyclic, tetracyclic and other antidepressant medications.
It is believed to work by preventing the reuptake of serotonin, norepinephrine and (to a lesser extent) dopamine.
