1. 4,4'-bis(dimethylamino)benzophenonimide. An aniline dye used as a disinfectant and an antiseptic agent. It is weakly fluorescing and binds specifically to certain proteins. Pharmacological action: anti-infective agents, disinfectants, dyes. Chemical name: Benzenamine, 4,4'-carbonimidoylbis(N,N-dimethyl-, monohydrochloride (12 Dec 1998)
