Medical Definition of Dermatosparaxis

1. Recessive disorder of cattle in which a procollagen peptidase is absent. In consequence the amino and carboxy terminal peptides of procollagen are not removed, the collagen bundles are disordered and the dermis is fragile. Similar to Ehlers Danlos syndrome in humans.
