1. An ephemerovirus infection of cattle caused by bovine ephemeral fever virus (ephemeral fever virus, bovine). It is characterised by respiratory symptoms, increased oropharyngeal secretions and lacrimation, joint pains, tremor, and stiffness. (12 Dec 1998)
