1. Homogeneous eosinophilic inclusions in the cytoplasm of epithelial cells; in renal tubules, hyaline body's represent droplets of protein reabsorbed from the lumen. See: Mallory bodies, drusen. Synonym: fuchsin bodies. (05 Mar 2000)
