Medical Definition of Iscoms
1. Synthetic vaccines consisting of an assembly of antigens in a multimeric form on a matrix with built-in adjuvant (saponin), forming submicroscopic particles. This produces a highly immunogenic form of subunit vaccine. (12 Dec 1998)
