1. A nerve that arises from the lateral cord of the brachial plexus usually passing medial to pectoralis minor to supply the sternoclavicular head of pectoralis major. Synonym: nervus pectoralis lateralis, lateral anterior thoracic nerve. (05 Mar 2000)
