Medical Definition of Pantoyltaurine

1. Pantothenic acid in which the carboxyl group is replaced by a sulfonic acid group; analogous to pantothenic acid in structure, except that taurine replaces beta-alanine in the molecule. Synonym: thiopanic acid. (05 Mar 2000)
