Medical Definition of Spastic syndrome in cattle
1. A disease of the nervous system manifested by spastic contractions of the muscles of one or both hind legs, most common in old bulls; the cramps usually become more frequent and severe, eventually resulting in decreasing the usefulness of the animal. (05 Mar 2000)
