1. Nuclei of the trigeminal nerve situated in the brainstem. They include the nucleus of the spinal trigeminal tract (trigeminal nucleus, spinal), the principal sensory nucleus, the mesencephalic nucleus, and the motor nucleus. (12 Dec 1998)
