Medical Definition of Imperfect fungus
1. A fungus in which the means of sexual reproduction is not yet recognised; these fungi generally reproduce by means of conidia. Perfect fungus, a fungus possessing both sexual and asexual means of reproduction, and in which both mating forms are recognised.
