1. Homotrimeric glycoprotein (450 kD) from _ granules of platelets and synthesised by various cell types in culture. Also found in extracellular matrix of cultured endothelial, smooth muscle and fibroblastic cells. May have autocrine growth regulatory properties: involved in platelet aggregation.
